  • In short no. As you can appreciate, we are a non-for-profit event so please ensure you select your tickets carefully.

  • Possibly. Sometimes life throws us some unfortunate emergency event that impacts our plans. If this is you, please submit your request in writing to roberiverrodeo@gmail.com and a member of the committee will contact you. We assess circumstances on a case-by-case basis. Please note, evidence may be requested

  • No camping is free! First in best dressed!

  • Unfortunately, we are a closed community. If you do not wish to camp or are unable to stay with a Pannawonica resident in town then our closest options are the Fortescue Roadhouse (1hr from town & limited) or Karratha/Onslow (2hrs from town)

  • Minimal you will need to come self-sufficient in your own camp site. That being said, the committee are increasing the number of toilets and showers this year in the campground based on your feedback. Please be patient and clean up after yourself after use.

  • We have the following services available to you during your visit: 24hr Service Station | Cafe | Tavern | Small Shop | Sonic Medical Centre - Appointments required. Nearest town for additional supplies are Onslow and Karratha.

  • No. Most visitors drive, or car pull. The bus services we have that depart Karratha are for mine workers only.

  • Your safety is important to us. If you purchase an adult ticket, we need to identify your mode of transport to the event including for your stay in the campgrounds for security & emergency reasons. We have made these changes this year based on your feedback to bolster our security presence.

  • No. If you choose to compete in our event you do so at your own risk and at your own expense. Our event is governed under the ABCRA licensing agreement.

  • Absolutely! Disrespectful behavior of any kind and illegal activities will not be tolerated and you will be removed from the event and campgrounds | Dogs are allowed in the campground but must be on a leash at all times | Dogs are not permitted in the event | No Drones | No Fireworks | No 2 or 4 wheel motorized bikes.

  • Small, contained fires are allowed. That being said, it is subject to change if advised by DFES that we are on a fire ban. You must ensure that all fires are extinguished prior to leaving your camp site with all remnants of the fire to be removed upon your departure post event.

  • We are fortunate that our event is held on Robe River Kuruma country. We have a strict leave no trace principle. Please ensure you take all your rubbish with you when you leave.

  • Kids under the age of 4 are free! Tickets must be purchased for kids between the age of 4-16 years.
